Innovative Bio-mining Solutions for Legacy Waste: Unlocking Value, Protecting the Future

In a world increasingly focused on sustainability, the challenge of managing legacy waste has become a critical issue. we provide advanced bio-mining solutions, transforming historical waste deposits into valuable resources and reclaimable land. Our approach not only mitigates environmental risks but also offers significant economic returns, making it an attractive investment opportunity.

What is Bio-Mining ?

Bio-mining is a sustainable waste management process that involves the excavation, segregation, and biological treatment of old waste dumps. Through this process, we recover valuable resources such as metals, compostable material, and recyclable plastics, while significantly reducing the volume of waste that remains. The result is not only a cleaner environment but also land that can be repurposed for urban development, agriculture, or green spaces.

Our Process

Site Assessment

Our comprehensive site assessment includes advanced deodorising techniques to neutralise odours from decomposing waste, ensuring a safer and more pleasant environment. We also focus on precise land levelling to prepare the site for efficient excavation and future development, minimising environmental impact while optimising resource recovery.

De-Odouring

The process of neutralising or eliminating unpleasant odours from waste collection, processing, or disposal. These odours are typically caused by the decomposition of organic materials, which release gases like ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Levelling

The process of grading and flattening the surface of a waste management site, such as a landfill or composting area, to create a stable and even foundation for various operations.

Commissioning Of Machinery

Following a comprehensive site assessment, our team will commission state-of-the-art machinery to optimise solid waste management operations. This includes installing and calibrating equipment tailored to the specific waste profile, ensuring efficient processing, maximum resource recovery, and minimal environmental impact. Our approach guarantees seamless integration with existing systems, enhancing overall site performance and sustainability.

Screening

After a thorough site assessment, we proceed with precision excavation and advanced segregation of solid waste. Utilising cutting-edge screening technologies, we efficiently separate recyclable materials, organic waste, and inert substances. This ensures maximum resource recovery and minimises environmental impact, setting the stage for sustainable waste management and site remediation.

Excavation

The process of digging into and removing waste materials from landfills, dumps, or contaminated sites. This is typically done as part of the remediation of legacy waste sites, where buried waste is unearthed for further processing

Segregation

The systematic separation of waste materials into different categories after they have been excavated. This process is crucial for optimising waste management and resource recovery.

Pre-Disposal Treatment

Followed by segregation and excavation , this is helpful for the end user. The pre-disposal treatment is the process where the RDF is shredded to enhance the co- processing .

Disposal

The final handling and utilisation of materials recovered through the bio-mining process. These materials include RDF, which is a valuable energy source to the cement plants , and other by-products  i.e fine soil used as fertiliser and course soil as fillers that need to be managed appropriately to ensure environmental safety and resource efficiency.
